Description: An all-new show debuts for the Festival of American
Music & Crafts with the popular Salute to the Great American Cowboy.
The original musical production Headin' West presents the pioneer
spirit of the courageous cowboys who tamed the West and framed
the spirit of the emerging American nation. Michael Martin Murphey
performs in a special concert, headlining the Western entertainment,
cowboy bootmakes from around the country compete in the 2nd annual
Best of American Bootmakers showcase competition, and an all-new
area show features a riding rodeo clown and a massive buffalo.
The festival also features hundreds of musicians playing country,
gospel and bluegrass, and over 135 visiting craftsmen demonstrating
America's heritage crafts. |
